The Atlanta Falcons have a vastly improved roster following one of the more exciting offseasons in recent memory. As the team looks to end its five-year playoff drought, all eyes are locked onto quarterback Desmond Ridder.
The former third-round pick started four games as a rookie, but head coach Arthur Smith saw enough to name Ridder the starter for the 2023 season.
Expectations from Falcons fans are all over the map. Some feel Ridder has been disrespected by the media, while others appear to have already written off the young QB long before Week 1 arrives.
Ridder has made progress throughout camp thus far, but he sent Twitter into a frenzy on Monday after under-throwing a pass intended for tight end Kyle Pitts.
