Falcons ‘unable to host fans onsite’ in Flowery Branch for training camp due to construction

NFL: Atlanta Falcons-Training Camp
Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

There will be two practices fans can attend, and those details are below.

The Falcons won’t be welcoming fans to any practices at IBM Performance Field at the team’s facility in Flowery Branch, Ga. this summer due to construction. But there will be two opportunities for you to see the Falcons on the field this summer outside of preseason games.

From the team’s release:

The first will take place at Seckinger High School in Buford on Saturday, July 27, as a part of the NFL’s Training Camp Back Together Weekend. The free practice will mark the Falcons’ return to a local high school for the first time since a 2016 practice at Grayson High School.

The second will take place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Friday, August 2. Tickets for the practice at Mercedes-Benz Stadium will be only $5 with proceeds benefitting support of medical programs and treatment services at Emory Healthcare, the official team healthcare provider of the Atlanta Falcons.

Information and how to secure parking will be available at a later date.

The team’s release states that this is a temporary measure due to the ongoing construction at IBM Performance Field and that the team is looking forward to welcoming fans back to training camp in 2025.

Training camp is always a great time, and it’s unfortunate fans won’t be able to be on-site for it this season. But as usual, we will have you covered with everything you need to know here at The Falcoholic.
