Former first-round pick Jeff Okudah was carted off the practice field this Friday with an apparent leg injury.
Okudah was traded from the Lions to the Falcons this offseason. Last year, the former Ohio State star recorded 73 tackles, seven passes defended, one interception and a forced fumble.
Unfortunately, Okudah’s pro career has been riddled with injuries thus far. In 2021, he suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon. This was one year after he underwent core muscle surgery.
The Falcons have not yet announced the severity of Okudah’s injury. Nonetheless, NFL fans are feeling terrible for him.
He hasn’t caught a break since he’s been in the league smh https://t.co/Mv98RynJBw

The Falcons traded for Okudah due to his absurd potential. After all, we’re talking about a former All-American and All-Big Ten cornerback.
If Okudah ends up missing significant time this season, that’d be a devastating blow to his career and the Falcons’ secondary.
Hopefully, Okudah dodged a major injury at Friday’s practice.
