Kirk Cousins’ Wife Reacts To Husband Signing With The Falcons

Kirk Cousins wasted no time landing a new deal, agreeing to a four-year contract with the Atlanta Falcons just two hours after the legal tampering window opened.

Cousins’ deal wit the Falcons is worth $180 million and includes $100 million guaranteed.

On Thursday night, Cousins’ wife Julie offered her brief thoughts on the move from Minnesota to Atlanta. She shared a photo of the family packing up their bags to head down south to their new home.

“Packing up to head south… great time to play some instruments,” Julie Cousins wrote, via New York Post. “Atlanta here we come!”

A few posts later, Julie shared a photo of the family dog along with this caption: “This guy is the only one not excited about moving down south!”

Julie was born and raised in Alpharetta, Georgia. For that reason alone, we’d have to imagine she’s amped up about Kirk signing with the Falcons.

As for the Vikings, they made it clear that Cousins and his family will be missed in Minnesota.

“Kirk holds a special place in Vikings history, and we appreciate his leadership and contributions to the team and the Minneapolis-St. Paul community over the past six seasons,” Vikings said Kwesi Adofo-Mensah said. “We wish him; his wife, Julie; and their children all the best.”
