Week 18 of the 2023 NFL season continues with another Saturday edition of Monday Night Football featuring the Houston Texans taking on the Indianapolis Colts. Read on for our picks and predictions.
Week 18 of the 2023 NFL season is just getting started. As we await our Atlanta Falcons slim chance at the postseason with a victory over the New Orleans Saints (and some Carolina Panthers magic), we’ve got a second Saturday game on deck.
Coming to us on Saturday night, we’ve got a very important AFC South clash between two Wild Card (and potentially AFC South) hopefuls in the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts.
Let’s get right to tonight’s picks, which I’ll be making on a straight moneyline (aka picking the winner) basis. I’ll still provide the information on the spread and over/under, for those interested. At the bottom, I’ll show the rest of the staff’s picks for the game.
All odds are taken from DraftKings Sportsbook and are subject to change. See the current odds here.

Monday Night Football (on Saturday): Houston Texans (9-7) at Indianapolis Colts (9-7)
The pick: Texans (-1)
Spread: Texans -1 | Over/Under: 47.5 | Moneyline: Texans -120, Colts +100
This is a great game between two surprising AFC playoff contenders, and could even end up deciding control of the AFC South if the Jaguars should lose. Both the Texans and Colts have been a little hot and cold this season, but one team thoroughly dominated the other earlier in the season. Houston piled up points and yardage, and now with C.J. Stroud and Nico Collins both back and healthy, are a slight road favorite in Indianapolis. I think I agree with Vegas on this one, and I’ll take Stroud over Minshew.
