It might not be long before Bill Belichick lands another coaching gig.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Atlanta Falcons have a second interview with Belichick lined up for this weekend.

“Former #Patriots coach Bill Belichick will have a second interview with the #Falcons brass this weekend after meeting with owner Arthur Blank 1-on-1 this past week. Things are ramping up with the greatest coach of all time…,” Rapoport said.

If this meeting goes well, the Falcons could potentially offer the job to Belichick.

The Falcons have a huge question mark at quarterback, there’s no doubt about it. The rest of the roster, however, is actually built to contend now in the NFC South.

For whatever it’s worth, ESPN’s Dan Graziano has already predicted that Belichick will end up in Atlanta.

“My prediction for the next Falcons coach: Bill Belichick. I think he is the clear favorite here unless another job opens that has a quarterback already in place and offers him a chance to win those 15 games he needs to pass Don Shula atop the all-time list in short order,” Graziano wrote.

Will Belichick take his talents to the NFC South just like Tom Brady did in 2020? We’ll find out soon enough.
