A year after having zero open practices, the Atlanta Falcons have announced 11 dates that fans can attend.

Last summer, unfortunate construction scheduling prevented fans from attending practices at camp, which seems like something the team’s business operations group should’ve been more on top of. Nevertheless, fans will now have the opportunity to attend practices spanning from late-July to mid-August. There are a handful of key dates fans will have extra interest in attending.
July 26th is part of the NFL’s Back Together Weekend, and fans attending the open practice will have the chance to hear from Falcons head coach Raheem Morris and general manager Terry Fontenot. Former Falcon players will also be in attendance. Could this be the site of episode four of the Julio Jones podcast?
August 12-13 gives fans the opportunity to see how the team measures up against another NFL team, the Tennessee Titans, in joint practice sessions. These will lead up to their preseason game on August 15 in Atlanta.
Fans should never be treated like obstacles to overcome, especially when those fans have endured nearly a decade of losing and still choose to spend their money supporting the organization. At the end of the day, everyone wants the same thing: to see the team win.
So grab your UV protection of choice and get down to Flowery Branch this summer if you can. The team is giving locals more than enough opportunities to watch them, and you never know when the next construction project could arise.
