In 2025, the Atlanta Falcons defense may look much different than last season. Not only has the team hired defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, but Atlanta has numerous defensive players set to become free agents in the offseason.
Multiple starters, including linebacker Matthew Judon, safety Justin Simmons and cornerback Mike Hughes, could have new homes in 2025. Since the Falcons currently have a cap deficit of over $10 million, it could be tough sledding for general manager Terry Fontenot.
Offensively, there are a few players the team should consider re-signing, including Pro Bowl wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge and starting center Drew Dalman.
