When it comes to fantasy football, rookies can often make or break your season. For example, Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier probably wasn’t on a lot of people’s radar last season, but the rookie provided huge value down the stretch.
Allgeier’s teammate, Bijan Robinson, won’t be sneaking up on anybody this year. The former Texas star was the first running back to be drafted in the top 10 since the Giants selected Saquon Barkley No. 2 overall in 2018.
While Robinson is joining a crowded Falcons backfield, his elite upside has fantasy analysts buying in. ESPN’s Field Yates made the case that Robinson will be in the mix for the most offensive touches in the NFL this season.
“If you can’t get the ball to Bijan Robinson, that’s a coaching problem, right?” said Yates during an episode of ESPN’s Fantasy Focus.

“The Falcons should have Bijan Robinson squarely in the mix, and probably the front-runner for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year before the season even begins,” Yates concluded.
Robinson is currently ranked as Yates’ No. 3 fantasy running back going into the 2023 NFL season.
