After interviewing a handful of candidates, the Atlanta Falcons hired Jeff Ulbrich for their defensive coordinator vacancy last week. The team held a press conference in Flowery Branch to introduce Ulbrich on Monday morning.
The former New York Jets interim head coach previously coached in Atlanta from 2015 to 2020 with Raheem Morris. Ulbrich talked about how far he’s come since he last coached for the Falcons in 2020.
“Although my core principles are the same in many ways, my football brain is in a completely different place,” said Ulbrich. “I’m really excited for Raheem and myself.”
