Everything you need to know before training camp kicks off today.
Guess what? 2025 Atlanta Falcons training camp kicks off today, bringing an era of excitement, camp battles, and hope to a fanbase that needs an infusion of all three. It’s one of my favorite times of the year, and I hope that’s true for you, as well.
We have a live fan party to celebrate this year, plenty of intriguing story lines to follow, and then we’re only a stone’s throw away from the 2025 regular season. As you gear up to enjoy training camp and preseason this year, here’s what you’ll need to know.
Join us for a Falcons fan party
Kevin Knight and Adnan Ikic will be at Fire Maker on Saturday, July 26 at 6 p.m. for a live show and fan party to celebrate training camp and an exciting (we hope) Falcons season ahead.
This will be an outdoor event if weather permits, but can move indoors if rain shows up in the forecast. Be sure to join the guys and your fellow fans in West Midtown for a good time!

Training camp battles preview
What to watch
From your spot on the hill next to the practice field, you should have a pretty good view of the action, albeit not all of it. The individual battles and 11 on 11 live reps are a great preview of where players stand on the depth chart, as well as opportunities for players fighting for roles and roster spots to shine. That also tends to be where most of the exciting action happens, like Michael Penix rifling passes to Drake London or corners making leaping interceptions.
Watch to see how core starters look, how your favorite roster hopefuls fare when the action heats up, and how healthy injured players like Kyle Pitts, DeMarcco Hellams, and Bralen Trice look as they get back out there.
Of course, the roster battles are beginning in earnest now, and there’s a good list of them to monitor in 2025.
