Atlanta Braves news and notes from Tuesday.
The Atlanta Braves made an unfortunate move on Tuesday by placing left-hander Tyler Matzek on the 15-day injured list with elbow inflammation. The move is retroactive to May 5, and Matzek first reported the news to Brian Snitker on Monday’s off day.
Brian Snitker said Tyler Matzek reported the injury during Monday’s off day.
