The Atlanta Falcons acquired eight players in the 2024 NFL draft before adding 10 undrafted free agents to the 90-man roster. While much has been said about the team’s first-round selection of quarterback Michael Penix, the success or failure of Atlanta’s 2024 draft class will not be determined by a single player.
As for the team’s 10 undrafted free agents, their chances of making the roster aren’t great but it would be unwise to overlook anybody based on draft status. The Falcons signed linebacker Nate Landman the same year they drafted Troy Andersen in the second round. Two years later, Landman has had a bigger impact and appears to have a brighter future.
Time will tell which player is better, but it’s a good reminder not to take anything for granted when it comes to a prospect. Here’s a look at each Falcons undrafted free agent ranked by their RAS (relative athletic score):
