Ozzie had a painful RBI in last night’s game.
Ozzie Albies was noticeably limping after last night’s game after being hit on the foot in the second inning. Albies finished the game but was described as “extremely sore” and the Braves will wait and see how he feels today before deciding if he’s going to play tonight.
Ozzie Albies had an extremely sore toe after being hit by a pitch in the second inning Monday night, and the #Braves will wait to see how he feels this morning before determine if he’ll play. He played the rest of the game but was limping afterward and had the foot checked out.

It happened after Atlanta had tied the score at 1 following a Travis d’Arnaud double, a Jarred Kelenic walk, a Luis Guillorme single, and Ronald Acuña Jr walk. Acuńa’s walk loaded the bases, which means Ozzie’s painful HBP was at the very least a go-ahead RBI. Luis Guillorme, who filled in for Orlando Arcia last night, would be the likely fill-in for Albies should he be unable to go.
There’s no indication yet the injury is anything more serious.
